Tom Franz grew up in the northern suburbs of the Twin Cities. At theinvitation of life-long friend and entero founder Roy Larson, Tom was selected to be part of the entero team. Prior to entero, Tom utilized his business, interpersonal skills and passion to help others in the pharmaceutical industry, where he was a highly successful Executive Sales Representative for GlaxoSmithKline. His strong leadership ability, outgoing nature, and positive attitude led to his territory’s sales turnaround. Tom’s willingness to go beyond what was asked was recognized when each year he earned a GSK “Spirit Award”.

Much of Tom’s leadership skill and desire to help others was developed in a Christian ministry as an ordained minister. From 1988 until 2003, Tom and his wife Mary served in full-time ministry. Tom and Mary led ministries in Boston, Amsterdam (Netherlands), Springfield, MA and Minneapolis. As part of their ministry duties they recruited and trained potential leaders.

As a student at the University of Minnesota, Tom graduated in March 1987 with a degree in Business Administration. During his time at the “U,” he displayed an eager desire to lead others and make a difference. He was president of his fraternity, homecoming king, and was awarded a President’s Student Leadership award.

Tom’s primary responsibilities at entero are as a Senior Recruiter. Tom and Mary have been married more than 18 years and are blessed with three children: Hannah, Sam, and Abigail. They live in Bloomington and enjoy community, church, and sports activities with their children.
