Roy Larson grew up in Shoreview, Minnesota. He attended the University of Minnesota, studying Business Administration. In 1984 he transferred to the University of Illinois at Chicago and graduated with a BA in Communications in June 1987. Roy and his wife, Chelly, began a highly successful 13-year career in full-time Christian ministry. He and his wife led churches in Chicago, Minneapolis, Boston and Madrid, Spain. They began and mentored mission works in Western Europe; they excelled in recruiting and developing leaders.

In 1999, Roy and Chelly made the decision to pursue other careers. Through a friend in the staffing industry; Roy was introduced to and hired by a global staffing firm in Southern California. He began to build highly successful contract staffing divisions providing temporary finance and accounting professionals to a broad base of clients. In 2001, family circumstances called Roy and his family to transfer with his firm back to Minneapolis. In 2003 and 2004, Roy achieved President’s Club for the staffing firm, recognized as one of their most successful consulting sales professionals in the world, providing accounting, finance, internal audit, SOX 404, tax, re-engineering, analytical and ERP systems contractors for his clients’ key projects.

Roy left his position with the staffing firm in May 2005. He later joined a global CPA firm where he successfully placed many senior level internal employees in Assurance, Tax, Risk Management, Technology, Strategy, Operations and Healthcare consulting practices.

In July 2006 he launched entero, LLC. Roy and Chelly have been married for more than 22 years and have been blessed with three sons: David (19), Daniel (17) and Andrew (14). Today they are actively involved in ministry as well as their sons’ sports.
